More rural consultation events set to take place around Lichfield

Two new dates have been added to the consultations with rural communities taking place across Lichfield.

Organised by Lichfield District Council, the events are designed to give residents the chance to have a say on how their neighbourhoods might be developed in the future.

The first extra exhibition is at Stonnall Village Hall on September 17, from 4.30pm to 7.30pm, while the second takes place at Fradley Village Hall on September 22, from 4.30pm to 7.30pm.

Councillor Neil Roberts, Lichfield District Council’s Cabinet Member for Development Services, said:

“We have added these extra dates to make sure we get as many views as possible. We are keen to hear from all our rural communities, so if you can’t make it to one of the exhibitions, please take a moment to fill in a questionnaire. It includes questions on housing, jobs, access to services and more.”

To encourage people to give their views, the council will be running a prize draw and everyone who returns a questionnaire will be entered into a prize draw for the chance to win £25 shopping vouchers. Children will also be able to win a family ticket to the Lichfield Garrick’s festive production of Peter Pan.
