Lichfield commuters are being asked to help police track down track down two suspects after a purse was taken at station on the cross-city line.
A 25-year-old woman had placed her bags on the floor while sitting in a café on the concourse at Birmingham New Street Station at 4.20pm on July 29.
Although she did not leave her bags at any point, when she went to get her purse 30 minutes later she discovered it was missing from her handbag,
The brown and pink-coloured Radley purse contained a small amount of cash, bank and credit cards, and a driving licence.
PC Salim Mohammed said:
“Viewing CCTV images from Birmingham New Street has identified two people, a man and a woman, who we believe will have information which can assist us.
“I would urge anyone who knows the identity of the people in these photographs, or their whereabouts, to contact British Transport Police straight away.”
