Lichfield Leisure Leagues football round-up

Stonn All Stars moved comfortably into mid-table in the Lichfield Sunday six-a-side league as they beat Mean Machine 5-1.

Perhaps the pick of the games elsewhere saw The Solados and Norfolk both maintain their title challenges with 3-0 victories over FC Licho and Boley explosion respectively.

The games were a little tighter in division one, but Clifton Rovers 2-0 victory over Balboa’s Boys was enough to see them gain ground on Ice Pack, who could only draw 1-1 with Real Sosobad.

Plough and Harrow moved away from the basement in the Monday division one league as they squeaked home by the odd goal in three against Monkey’s Punk.

It was honours even elsewhere as both the game between Colin Lee’s Adopted Sons and Boley Park Academy and the Street Strikers and Family United clash ended 1-1.

APFC moved to the top of the table in division one as they beat Dr Johnson 2-0, while last week’s leaders England Youth could only draw 2-2 with mid table Six On Legs.

BD wrapped up the title in the Tuesday 6 a side league as they beat FC No Chance 3-0. Lichfield Crown were sure of at least runners-up spot even before they beat The Feathers 3-2.

Elsewhere Sporting and KED will be hoping for better next term after 4-0 victories over Pathetic and Bayern Neverlosin.
