The Fradley Players have been forced to postpone their production of Habeas Corpus.
The decision has been taken due to illness of a key cast member and other exceptional circumstances.
The Players have reluctantly decided to postpone their October performances until next year.
Anyone who purchased tickets via the group’s website will be offered a refund or transfer of use facility.
To replace the play, a quiz night with fish and chip supper has been organised on October 30 at Fradley Village Hall.
The Players’ next production will now take place in February 2011 and is likely to be Jack and the Beanstalk, a pantomime currently being penned by Brian Asbury.
On September 20 at 8pm, a meeting to progress the panto will be held for all members, including backstage and support crew. Further auditions for the main characters and children’s chorus will occur at a later date.
Anyone interested in getting involved, either onstage or backstage, can contact Mavis Whitehead on 01283 792420.
