Dignitaries from across the region donned their tuxedos and gowns for a special event in Lichfield. The black tie gala hosted byLichfield District Council’s Chairman, Cllr Barry Diggle, featured the 45 piece City Concert Orchestra, whose principal conductor is the Lichfield Garrick’s artistic and executive director, Adrian Jackson. Cllr Diggle said:
“From the welcome reception to the rousing music, we were all thoroughly entertained. I was extremely proud to present the Lichfield Garrick to all the dignitaries, who will be taking back memories of a wonderful evening spent in Lichfield to their home towns.”
The night also saw £400 for the Battle of Britain Memorial Trust.
