Chance for Lichfield and Burntwood artists to exhibit work at hospital

Artists in Burntwood and Lichfield are being given the chance to take advantage of exhibition space at a local hospital.

The opportunity to have artworks viewed by thousands of staff, patients and visitors is being given by Good Hope Hospital.

In the past, the hospital’s corridors have displayed paintings, photography and sculptures.

Sarah McGrory, arts co-ordinator, said:

“We’ve had really good feedback from patients, visitors and staff about the art exhibitions in the hospital.  They really brighten up the place.  Visitors and patients, particularly, have said they enjoy being able to take a few minutes out to visit the exhibitions and get away from the stress of being in hospital.

“It would be great exposure for established and budding artists, as the Treatment Centre hosts the hospital’s outpatient clinics, so there would be plenty of opportunity for patients and visitors to see the artwork.”

Anyone interested in having their work displayed can contact Janet Pratt on 0121 424 0113 or email
