Comedy Barbershopera show is coming to Lichfield

The award-winning musical comedy Barbershopera II is coming from the West End to the Lichfield Garrick.

Performing in four-part harmony and a cappella through-out, the talented foursome tell the story of a Catalan matador who inherits his dead father’s barbershop in Shavingham, Norfolk.

He travels from Spain to claim his inheritance and once there the young hero strives to uncover the murky mystery of his father’s death whilst taking on local hairdresser extraordinaire Trevor Sorbet in a dramatic cut-off, battling to win the heart of the beautiful town crier and wondering if he will ever leave Norfolk again?

Barbershoperaearned rave reviews at the Edinburgh Fringe in both 2008 and 2009, winning Best Lyrics at the Musical Theatre Matters awards in both years.

The show will be at the Lichfield Garrick on October 2 at 7.30pm. Tickets are priced at £15 and £12 (students) and can be booked at or by calling the box office on 01543 412121.
