Lichfield Leisure Leagues football round-up

The Sodado’s were the big winners in the Lichfield Sunday Premier division as they beat Bassets Allsorts 7-0.

Ram Sitchards are still top, though after a comfortable 3-0 cruise over Stonn Allstars and Essentials took a giant step to avoiding relegation after beating bottom side FC Licho 2-0.

With division one champions-elect winning again it was left to the teams battling to join them to take the headlines this week, and both won 1-0, second placed Ice Pack beat Hexis FC Legends and Clifton Rovers against Boley Explosion.

Boley Park Academy continued their chase for honours as they beat Norfolk 3-0 in the Monday league, Family United also won 3-0, seeing off Old Heads and won’t feel out of things.

And 3-0 was a popular score in division one as well, with Boley Park Academy and APFC winning against Six on Legs and Dads Army respectively, but England Youth were the days biggest scorers, crushing England Youth 5-0.

Lichfield Crown are top of the Wednesday league on goal difference, not surprising as they walloped Pathetic Athletic 6-0, while KED are the only other side to have won both games, easing out The Feathers 4-1. Sporting got off the mark in solid fashion, seeing off FC No Chance 3-1.
