Two girls have been injured after a crash in Chasetown.

The youngsters – aged five and six – were injured after being hit by a Kia car on Chase Road at around 8.45am.

A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokesman said:

“Two girls, aged five and six, had collided with a car. One of the girls had a suspected broken leg, the other had a head injury.

“The fractured leg was splinted and both girls were immobilised with the use of spinal boards and neck collars as a precaution before they were both taken to Walsall Manor Hospital for further assessment and treatment.”

I think they’ll find that the car collided with the girls. Odd terminology.

I wish them a speedy recovery.

Best Wishes
