Boss hopes league break will revitalise Shenstone Pathfinder FC

Manager Chris Whitehouse is hoping that taking the focus of their league campaign will help Shenstone Pathfinder FC break a run of three successive defeats.

A 2-1 reverse at home to Trysull saw Shenstone let a 1-0 lead slip as they attempted to break their recent run of bad form.

But with a Staffs FA Vase clash against Foley up next on Saturday (October 9), Whitehouse is hoping his charges will benefit from a change of focus.

He explained:

“It was a disappointing result against Trysull and we are on a bad little run at the moment. We have a break from the league next week so hopefully we can put a win on the board and get a cup run going to give the lads back the confidence they were playing with earlier in the season.”

Shenstone’s game on Saturday kicks off at 3pm.
