Burntwood Leisure Leagues football round-up

FC Firm have lost their grip on the summit of the Burntwood six-a-side Premier Division as they slumped to a 3-2 reverse at the hands of Young Guns.

LGCC FC moved into pole position despite being held to a goalless draw by Heavyweights. Durban Poison are looking up as they saw off the challenge of Brian Blessed Hawkmen by two goals to nil.

Aspen Arrows stated their intentions in Division One as they recorded a fine 4-1 win over Scholars FRC, but One Hit Wanderers continue to lead the way as battled to a 2-0 victory over Not So Pro.

Athletico Chasetown preserved their perfect record at the top of the Monday Premier Division as they eased to maximum points with a 4-0 defeat of Chase Rattlers, whilst AFC Clayhangers stated their intentions with a 7-0 mauling of Bayern Munchie FC.

Real Brownhills are amongst the early pacesetters in Division One as they hit Lichvegas for six without reply, whilst Yew Trees 100% start continued with a 2-0 triumph over FC Long Shots.

Day Release recorded their first win of the new campaign in the Second Division, and did so in some style, putting Burntwood Villa to the sword by six goals to two. Shelfield United head the way as they saw off the challenge of Fifa Tuesday 3-1.

Streetly Rangers made it two wins out of three in the final tier as they recorded a commanding 4-0 win over The Green FC.
