Chasetown FC have completed the signing of Jimmy Turner from Hednesford Town FC.
The 27-year-old was a major close season signing for the Pitmen having finished last season at Halesowen Town.
He was captain of AFC Telford United in their promotion season (2006-07) from the Northern Premier League to Conference North as eventual play-off winners.
Assistant manager Andy Cox said:
“Having also gained experience with Eastwood Town, Jimmy is a quick and classy defender who will bring invaluable experience to the Scholar’s back line.”
The Mickleover-based player will be included in the 16 man squad for the Evo-Stik Northern Premier Division game at Stocksbridge Park Steels today (October 23).
