Children are being urged to don their spooky costumes to join a haunting Halloween trail in Beacon Park.

The event takes place on October 31 between 5pm and 7pm and sees youngsters following clues around the park to help Witch Wizz cast her spell.

Visitors will need to wander down Werewolf Walk, explore the Eerie Alcove and sneak past the Bewitched Bushes to complete the creepy trail and claim their prize.

Councillor Val Richards, Cabinet Member for Leisure Services, said:

“For a Halloween treat for the kids, put on your favourite spooky costumes and come along to Beacon Park’s Halloween Haunt and Jaunt. If you are hungry after the spooky trail, you can warm up with a selection of hot food and drink, including pumpkin soup, from the catering pod.”

There is no need to book and participants can just go along and  pick up a clue card for 50p from Witch Wizz at the Bunker’s Hill car park entrance.

The trail is suitable for children aged three and above and all youngsters must be accompanied by an adult. For more information, contact the parks team on 01543 308869.
