Ten-year-old Lichfield brothers who became the first twins to win all 33 scouting badges have been invited to visit Downing Street.
Jack and David Taylor hit the headlines this week when their unusual achievement came to light.
And now city MP Michael Fabricant has invited the brothers – and their friends at the 7th Lichfield Group – to visit Downing Street and the Houses of Parliament.
The Conservative MP said:
“I was a Cub once so I know what a fantastic achievement it is to be awarded all 33 badges. I really congratulate Jack and David. These boys will clearly go far!
“We have a strong Scouting tradition in the Lichfield area and I am a keen supporter of both the Scouts and the Guides. I was delighted when Number 10 contacted me to say how thrilled they are with this success story too.”
