Lichfield is set to host its first ever Santa Fun Run. The December 19 event will see scores of suited santas jogging around Stowe Fields and Stowe Pool. The event is open to fun runners of all ages and abilities, with entrants being given a Father Christmas costume to run in. Paul Griffin from organisers KP Events said:
“Men women and children are already contacting us with a view to running in families or groups of friends and we are encouraging everyone to come along and have a good time with lots of others also dressed up as Santa, its all about having a festive fun time!”
The route is a mile long circuit and all finishers will receive a special Father Christmas medal and a Christmas pudding. Entry is £10.50 for adults,£7.50 for children with families of three paying £22.50 and families of four £25.00.
