Lichfield skipper hoping Myrtle Greens will learn from defeat

Dave Bassett

Dave Bassett believes his Lichfield RUFC side can take the positives from their defeat at Dudley Kingswinford RUFC.

The Myrtle Greens entertain Leamington tomorrow (October 30) at Cooke Fields and will be looking to break their home duck in the clash.

And captain Bassett is hoping his side have learned their lessons from their loss against unbeaten Dudley.

He said:

“We can take confidence from that performance and will, as always, learn a number of valuable lessons that will enable us to better control the game during periods of superiority and concerted pressure.”
