A man from Bassetts Pole is among five people arrested as part of a fraud investigation into a Rugeley business.
The 45-year-old was held as part of the ongoing police probe into the trading activities of Trade Price Group.
As well as the man held at the address near Lichfield, a 45-year-old man and 38-year old woman from Milford in Stafford were arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to defraud, along with a 36-year-old man from Sutton Coldfield and a 33-year-old man from Kettlebrook in Tamworth.
All five have been taken into custody for questioning.
