Lichfield’s pantomime has produced record results at the box office.

The Lichfield Garrick’s production of Peter Pan has seen sales up by almost 1,400 tickets compared to last year’s performances of Aladdin at the same stage last year.

Adrian Jackson, Artistic & Executive Director at the Garrick said:

“We’re selling around 1,000 tickets a week, and already 28 of our performances have sold out.”

CBBC’s BAFTA award winning presenter Barney Harwood will take on the lead role of Peter Pan, while his father, Barnaby will return to the Garrick in the role of Smee.  Also returning is writer and director Ian Adams, who will play Captain Hook.

Adrian added:

“I am delighted Peter Pan is proving to be so popular. Casting Barney as Peter Pan is so exciting for children, as he is very well known by all viewers of CBBC – the BBC’s flagship children’s channel. To see tickets selling out at such a rate is absolutely wonderful.”

The show runs from December 2 until January 9, including a signed performance on December 12 at 11am Tickets are priced from £10 to £13.50 for children and £19.50 to £21.50 for adults. To book visit or call the box office on 01543 412121.
