Irish group Lunasa set for Lichfield Guildhall performance

Renowned Irish music performers Lunasa are returning to the Lichfield Guildhall.

The group, who have recently celebrated ten years together, will perform in the city on November 21.

Bassist Trevor Hutchinson, guitar player Pat Meehan, fiddle player Sean Smyth, Kevin Crawford on flutes and Cillian Vallely on Uilllean pipes will be wowing audiences with their unique skills.

Lichfield Arts Director Brian Pretty said:

“What attracts audiences is their inventive arrangements and bass-driven grooves which get to the pulse of Irish music, but at the same time redefines its wonderful rhythms without losing any of its freshness.

“They are a spell-binding band. Last year they sold out, so if you would like to enjoy a night of fine music in the company of some of the best musicians, this is the concert for you.”

The concert starts at 8pm , with tickets costing £16, £15 for concessions, £8 for students. For more information and to book tickets, visit or call 01543 262223.
