Shenstone Pathfinder FC manager Chris Whitehouse has insisted his players are heading in the right direction.

His comments came after they shrugged off some below par performances with a 2-1 win against Wyrley Juniors.

And Whitehouse believes more of the same will do just nicely for Shenstone. He explained:

“As bad as we were last week we were good this week, there were some superb performances from players today, but it was the whole teams workrate that pleased me most.

“I asked for a response from the players today after some disappointing performances over the last few weeks and they certainly gave it to me. We now need to perform at that level moving forwards, if we do, we will win more than we lose.”

Pathfinder play host to Heath Town Rangers in The Staffs Fa Vase next Saturday (November 13), kick off 1.30pm.
