Lichfield and Burntwood Leisure Leagues round-up

FC Firm, Young Guns and LGCC all have 100 per cent records in the Burntwood Sunday Premier League, while Heavyweights got off the mark with a 1-0 sneak past Scholars FC.

It is a similar story in division one, with three sides on maximum points, although TDB are still to taste defeat this term and beat The Untouchables 2-0.

Definitelymaybe head the chasing pack in the Monday league after their fine 5-0 dismissal of Chase Rattlers.

Bottom FC are not what their name suggests and  have eight points from eight games after easing out Bayern Munchie FC 2-0.

Burntwood VI continued their climb away from the division one drop zone in stunning style as they hammered fellow strugglers Trevor Road 6-2.

Not as many goals around in division two, although Shelfield United are still in an imposing position after beating Burntwood Villa 3-0.

Shire Oak Villa are very much in the title hunt in division three after their 5-1 tossing of Team Salad.

The top three – Ram Stichards, Norfolk and The Soldados – all won in Lichfield Premier League, while Balboa’s Boys, who beat Real Sosobad 3-0 thanks to Kevin Perry, were the only winners in division one.

The new season in the Monday league kicked off and APFC were impressive in their 4-1 victory over Colin Lee’s Adopted Sons.

Games were tighter in division one and Old Heads and FC PWN both won 1-0. The Tuesday league cast Sporting as headline makers as they beat FC No Chance 3-0.
