Chasetown FC aiming to heap more misery on FA Trophy opponents

Chasetown FC will be hoping to heap more misery on Workington in the FA Trophy.

The Scholars make the trip to Cumbria tomorrow (November 20) to take on a Reds side currently on a miserable run of seven defeats in their last eight outings.

And with some sections of the Workington support calling for manager Darren Edmondson’s head, Chasetown know they could not have picked a better time to take on the Blue Square Bet Conference North side.

The Scholars will stay overnight this evening ahead of the third qualifying round clash, but will be sweating on the fitness of John Branch.

However goalkeeper Ryan Price has shrugged off a back problem and will take his place between the sticks.

Workington will hand late fitness tests to forward Johnny Wright and skipper David Hewson.
