Broadstreet RUFC U15 5 Burntwood RUFC U15 22

Burntwood U15s travelled to Broadstreet and returned with a fine 22-5 victory.

Will Mason set them on the way with a try as the home side collapsed under constant pressure.

Approaching half time, Josh Birch collected possession on the left wing and set off on a crossfield run. He laid the ball off to Charlie Liggins who found Ben Tranter to score in the corner.

The second half saw Burntwood still in command although they didn’t have things all their own way against more determined opposition. A low pass allowed Tranter to show off his footballing skills, kicking through and dropping on the ball for a try converted by Rhys Thomas.

Broadstreet hit back with a try but Ryan Johnson sealed the win with his side’s fourth try.
