Big freeze forces postponement of Chasetown FC’s game against Whitby Town

Chasetown FC’s Evo-Stik Premier League match with Whitby Town at the Scholars Ground has been postponed due to a frozen pitch and a covering of overnight snow.

The match was scheduled to see the presentation of Chasetown’s £10,000 prize for winning the Evo-Stik League Facilities Makeover competition, which will now take place at a later date to be announced at the Scholars Ground.

No date has yet been announced for the restaging of the encounter with the Seasiders.
