New parents and those expecting are being invited to a new baby event in Lichfield.
Organisations promoting washable nappied, baby swimming lessons, baby and toddler music and sensory classes, signing classes and ante-natal reflexology will be among those at the Lichfield Guildhall event on December 8.
Taking place from 7pm to 9pm, it will also feature post-natal advice and displays on reiki and healing for mother and child.
Organiser Helen White from Burton Real Nappies said that the event came about after parents told her that daytime events were often difficult to attend.
She added:
“Through my local contacts I’ve found other companies who are also trying to get information to parents about the range of local services out there and so a baby event was born.”
Confirmed companies attending on the night include Waterbabies, Baby Sensory, Tiny Talk, Hypnobirthing, Reflexology, Reiki and Crystal healing, Little Lily Pad co, Burton Real Nappies, NCT (Lichfield & Tamworth Branch) and Sure Start, while other organisations are also being lined up.
Entrance is free and there will be complimentary refreshments and a prize draw raffle.
