The latest creation from a Burntwood community arts project is set to be unveiled.

The artwork takes on a 2012 Olympics theme, and will adorn the wall next to the stairs in Burntwood Leisure Centre.

It has been designed by young people with the help of members of the community, who were consulted on suggested sports quotes to be included in the design.

County Councillor Ben Adams, Cabinet Member for Communities and Culture said:

“This latest phase of the Morph4us project has focussed more on involving adult members of the local community, to create a truly intergenerational project.

“Displaying the artwork in the leisure centre – a focal point of the community – means local people will see first hand how the project has contributed to life in Burntwood.”
