Burntwood RUFC received an unexpected boost, despite seeing all of their fixtures again fall victim to the weather.
It was the third week running they had seen no games, but their position at the top of Midlands 3 West North was strengthened when nearest challengers Newcastle (Staffs) beat the freeze only to lose at home to Handsworth.
Weather permitting, the firsts are at home to Yardley & District at 2.15pm this Saturday (December 18).
