Lichfield and Burntwood residents are being invited to take part in a winter sunset walk on Gentleshaw Common.
Taking place from 3pm to 4.45pm on December 18, the walk is being led by Lichfield District Council’s biodiversity officer Chris Walsh.
He explained:
“This should be an enjoyable walk. I will talk about the local habitat and the history of the common. I recommend for everyone coming along to bring a torch, dress in very warm clothing, and wear walking shoes or boots.”
The festive walk will include either tea or coffee and a mince pie. It costs £2, and can be booked by calling Denice Deverall on 01543 308183 or emailing [email protected].
The group will set off from Ye Olde Windmill pub in Gentleshaw at 3pm.
