The event also features Paul Findlay and Steve Humpherson in That’s Entertainment by city playwright Phil Preece which was originally premiered at the Garrick Theatre in late 2009.

Artistic Director Paolo Allen said:

“The last year has been a superb one for the company with two of our shows going into the West End and the work we have produced receiving amazing reviews and feedback. The new year is already looking very busy as we stage the new show-case and That’s Entertainment at the George IV just a week before it is shown in London at the prestigious Baron’s Court Theatre on February 7.

“There has been so much interest in the play that it has attracted casting directors and producers from across London so it is even more exciting for us as a company!

“As well as this we have a full tour of the sequel to the hilarious House of Pain called World of Pain, a brand new commission for the Lichfield Festival, as well as a new tour for the autumn – all in all, a very busy year!”

The showcaseis being staged at the George IV pub in Bore Street on January 30 at 8pm. Tickets are £5 and can be purchased from the pub.
