The Lichfield Garrick is celebrating after running what has been the most successful Christmas production in it’s history.
Over 27,000 people attended the production which received rave reviews following it’s opening night on 7 December and drew it’s final curtain on Sunday 9 January.
Starring CBBC’s BAFTA winning Barney Harwood as Peter Pan, his father Barnaby as Smee and writer/director Ian Adams as Hook, the production had a “sensational” cast including a life-size crocodile and a flying Pan.
Adrian Jackson, Artistic and Executive Director of the Lichfield Garrick, said:
Peter Pan has been our most successful and popular Christmas show since the Garrick opened in 2003. I’m absolutely delighted that so many people, both young and old, watched the production, and we’ve been thrilled by the fantastic feedback we’ve received. We’re now planning another classic Christmas spectacular for this year, which we hope to announce in the next couple of weeks!

This is a colourful non-stop musical treat packed with enough songs, special effects and silliness to send even the hardest-hearted Scrooge out in a merry old mood.
