A bumper crowd saw Lichfield City FC earn a 2-2 draw at Bromsgrove.
More than 370 supporters turned out to see goals from Dan Mason and Sean Williams earn a valuable point.
Lichfield had a good opportunity to open the scoring in the early period with a Williams effort well saved by the home keeper.
But the hosts took the lead after 17 minutes when Jamie Rogers netted from the penalty spot.
City had a couple of opportunities to pull level before they finally did five minutes before the break. A 20-yard strike could only be parried and Mason gratefully fired home the loose ball.
Lichfield had a number of second half chances to pull ahead before the game sparked into life following the dismissal of substitute James Lawson five minutes from the end following an off the ball incident.
But the City side didn’t allow their numerical disadvantage to hinder their progress as they went back in front three minutes into injury time after Williams slotted home.
However, the drama wasn’t over as the final attack of the game saw Sean Westley head the ball into his own net.
