Arabella Weir will take a humorous look at attitudes towards earing disorders and obesity in her new show at the Lichfield Garrick.
Charting Arabella’s neurotic relationship with food, from prolonged abstinence to binge eating, The Real Me Is Thin recreates a childhood besieged with battles over food.
A spokesperson said:
“Subjected to her mother’s capricious feeding regime, Arabella was taught early on that food was her enemy. Happiness meant being allowed to eat what she liked – or more importantly, what everyone else was eating!”
Arabella Weir’s The Real Me Is Thin will be at the Lichfield Garrick on March 3 at 7.30pm. Tickets cost £16, and can be booked from www.lichfieldgarrick.com or by calling the box office on 01543 412121.
