A Lichfield pharmacy has been reopened by the city’s Mayor.

Cllr Christopher Spruce cut the ribbon on the refurbished Co-operative Pharmacy at Boley Park Shopping Centre.

Pharmacy manager Sian Byrne was on hand to show the Mayor around the pharmacy and highlight the new products and services on offer.

Sian said:

“We were delighted the Mayor accepted our invitation to cut the ribbon and declare our new pharmacy officially open. We are really proud of the transformation and spacious new layout. The new consultation area is perfect for carrying out medicine use reviews and gives customers an area to speak to a pharmacist in private.

“The staff worked really hard and the pharmacy remained open throughout the refit with no disruption to customers.”

Cllr Spruce added:

“The pharmacy now looks fantastic and because it is situated in the heart of the community it really delivers a genuinely local service – the team take the time to get to know their customers personally.”
