Visitors will be able to turn up and race the 45mph vehicles for ten minutes with prices starting at £10 and proceeds going to the charity.

Track manager Garry Mitchell said:

“If you’ve ever fancied having a go at karting this is going to be a brilliant opportunity to just come along and give it a try. I guarantee you’ll be hooked and all monies raised will go to this brilliant charity.”

In addition to the Arrive and Drive event running on the National circuit, there will be several competitive endurance events running throughout the day on the International circuit. Corporate teams taking part have come from businesses throughout the Midlands, all donating their entrance fee to Help for Heroes. A limited number of corporate spaces are still available.

A range of stalls and attractions will also be at the track and interested stallholders or activity owners are also urged to contact Midland Karting.

Garry added:

“It’s going to be a brilliant day, we’re hoping that we can raise a significant sum for Help for Heroes and we would be very interested in sharing the day with anyone who might like to help us do just that.”
