
Detectives have issued CCTV images of a man wanted in connection with a robbery at a Burntwood shop.
The offender struck as the One Stop Store in Parkhill Road, on the Redwood estate, was about to open shortly before 6am on November 9, 2010.
A male member of staff was at the rear doorway of the shop when he was attacked by the robber who then stole a quantity of cash before leaving.
The victim, aged in his 20s, was taken to Stafford Hospital for treatment to cuts and bruises. The robber is described as at least 6ft tall, of stocky build, and was wearing a black sports jacket, dark trousers, a grey face covering and grey gloves. He left the store carrying a black over-the-shoulder bag with a strap.
Officers want to speak to anyone who recognises the man or his clothing from the CCTV images, or who knows anything about the crime.
