Friends have paid tribute to a Burntwood man who died in a car crash. Jason Evans from Hawthorne Crescent died when the car he was a passenger in left the road in Heath Hayes on March 9. The 26-year-old would have celebrated his 27th birthday on Sunday (March 13). Friends have been sharing memories on Facebook. One poster wrote:
“RIP to a very special person everyone loved.”
Another added:
“I still can’t believe you hav been taken away from us so young.”
Daniel Baker, aged 26, of Hussey Road, Brownhills, has been charged with causing Mr Evans’ death by dangerous driving.
