People can find out more about the unique discovery of Anglo-Saxon gold near Lichfield after a series of documents were released online.
The Portable Antiquities Scheme has released ‘skeleton’ images of a number of the items in the Staffordshire Hoard online.
A number of papers delivered at a recent seminar on the discovery near Hammerwich have also been made available.
Among the topics covered by the papers include the conservation plan for the finds, warfare and the landscape of the discovery.
They have been edited by leading archaeologist and Time Team expert Helen Geake before being made available to the public.
