The former headteacher of a 13-year-old boy who suffered a heart attack has said his death is “a great shock”.

Connor Allen, who had been a student at Chase Terrace Technology College until recently, died at his home in Chadsmoor on Monday (March 28), despite the efforts of air ambulance medics to save him.

The school’s headteacher Dr Stuart Jones has joined pupils in paying tribute to the teenager.

He said:

“Our thoughts are with Connor’s family at this time. Connor was a lovely boy and his sudden death is a great shock to all of us.”
