Police are appealing for witnesses after a crash near Lichfield left a motorcyclist in a critical condition.
The accident involving a white Toyota car and a black motorcycle happened near the Byrkley Garden Centre, close to the crossroads of Byrkley Road, Church Road and Rangemore Hill at 11.30am on April 1.
The motorcyclist, a 31-year-old man from the Burton area, suffered serious injuries and was airlifted to the University Hospital of North Staffordshire.
Police want to trace a second motorcyclist who stopped at the scene but left before emergency services attended. He is described as white, aged in his late 40s or early 50s, around 5ft 8ins tall, stocky, with short grey hair and a ruddy complexion. He was wearing black leathers and boots and a black helmet and had a black motorcycle.
