The full list of nominees for the local elections in Lichfield and Burntwood has been announced.
Residents will go to the polls on May 5 to decide the make-up of Lichfield District Council.
The candidates will battle it out across 26 wards, although Bourne Vale, Colton Mavesyn Ridware, King’s Bromley, Longdon and Whittington have already been declared a no contest with only Conservative candidates standing in those areas.
In total, 129 nominees have come forward, with the split of candidates being:
- Conservatives 56
- Labour 37
- Liberal Democrat 22
- UKIP 8
- Independent candidates 4
- Green Party 2
