Parents in Lichfield and Burntwood are being reminded about a series of Easter events for youngsters in the region.

Burntwood Leisure Centre will be hosting a range of activities for children aged four to 16, including playschemes, swimming and the rookie lifeguard course, while Friary Grange Leisure Centre is allowing under 16s to play squash, racquetball or badminton for £2 during the holidays.

Elsewhere, King Edward VI Leisure Centre will be offering table tennis, badminton and gymnastic courses along with arts and crafts days.

Neil Turner, Lichfield District Council’s director of leisure, parks and play, said:

“Prevent holiday boredom by booking onto one of our fantastic Easter activities at one of our leisure centres. From Badminton, swimming and gymnastic courses to squash and tennis for only £2 a game and playschemes every day, there is something to keep every child occupied in the district this Easter.”
