Lichfield film fans are being given the chance to use a new movie rental scheme.

The Co-op store at Boley Park introduced the Rent It Here scheme to coincide with the launch of the latest instalment of the Harry Potter series.

The store is one of the first in the UK to introduce the new film hire system which is aiming to re-establish movie rental in towns and cities.

John James, store manager of The Co-op, Lichfield, said:

“The free membership service will allow repeat customers to conveniently rent a movie to watch with the family any day of the week at a reasonable price range between 99p and £2.99.”

David Robinson, marketing director at Rent It Here added:

“We are sure local residents will respond well to the service.”

Films are available from a pod inside the Boley Park store.
