An event which helps to raise money for Lichfield’s Fuse community music and arts festival is set to take place for a second year.
Last year’s Buskathon event was so popular that this year will see Son of Buskathon take over Lichfield’s Speakers’ Corner and organisers hope the event will beat the £2,000 raised at last year’s event.
Rumour also has it that local MP, Michael Fabricant will be making an appearance again to sing a rendition of another classic. He’ll join a plethora of performances including: solo buskers, local (and not so local) bands, dancers, jugglers, poets, children’s activities and more!
Fuse acts will also perform including Influx, Chloe & The Tomcats, Michael Jones, Stray Dog, Cul-de-sac, Luca, and Pedralta World Fusion Bellydance, as well as the Lichfield Morris Dancers.
Son of Buskathon will take place on May 14 and 15 from 9am to 7pm with a special ceremony at 2pm on Saturday to mark the 2-year anniversary of Lichfield Speaker’s Corner.
