A theme park near Lichfield is set to unveil a new ride.
Drayton Manor’s Thomas Land will welcome the Blue Mountain Engines ride on Saturday (May 28).
The new attraction features four carriages, each based on new characters from Skarloey Railway – Sir Handle, Skarloey, Rheneas and Peter Sam.
The ride is located near to the entrance of Thomas Land, replacing Terrance’s Driving School, which has been moved to an area near Farmer’s McColl’s Farm. Thirty-two people, including 16 adults, will be able to go on the ride at a time.
It is the first new Thomas Land attraction since it opened in March 2008.
