Eleven-year-old Jessica Fisher wowed the judges with her artwork, which will now feature on the official programme for the event. Jessica also won a family ticket to the SnowDome and a VIP table at this year’s Lichfield Proms for creating the winning design. She said:
“I was really surprised to hear that I won the competition and I’m looking forward to seeing my picture printed on all the programmes.”
Amy Rollason and Sophie Squire, from Chase Terrace Technology College, were the runners up in the competition. The free Lichfield Proms in Beacon Park takes place on September 3 and will feature music from Lichfield City Concert Band and the British Police Symphony Orchestra. There will also be solos from the soprano singer Joanne Mayling and tenor Mitesh Khatri. For more information about about sponsoring Lichfield Proms, call 01543 308866.
