Lichfield District Council’s park rangers are hosting sessions at 10am and 1pm on May 31 at Beacon Park.

The Mini Monsters’ Bug Hunt will involve searching for insects in leaves, under logs and in the brook. The rangers are expecting to find earwigs, ladybirds, millipedes, centipedes, snails, water shrimps and more.

Ruth Witczak, Lichfield District Council’s community and educational officer, said:

“If you have a mini monster, bring them along to Beacon Park this half term to hunt for some weird and wonderful insects and pond life.”

Anyone children interested in coming along must bring an adult to the main pavillion on the day.
