A series of free dance and art workshops are taking place in Lichfield as part of the preparations for this year’s Fuse Festival.

People taking part will work on a choreographed routine and produce the props and scenery for a perfomance in July.
The workshops take place at Chadsmead Primary School from 6.30pm to 8.30pm on June 1, 8, 15 and 22 and July 6.
The final performance will be a part of a larger Journeys and Quests production which will take place at Fuse on July 10 in Beacon Park and will also include children from 12 local schools and other community groups.
Fuse Director Tim Perks said:
“Following last year’s very successful workshops and performance there were many requests to do something similar again this year but we wanted to make the performance even more visual. People can come along and be part of the dance or, if dance is not their thing, they can help to make the props and scenery needed.”
There is no need to book on the workshops in advance, people can just turn up on the night and all ages are welcome. For more details visit the Fuse website or contact Lichfield Arts on 01543 262223.
