Gypsy jazz guitarists Paul Vernon Chester and Nick Mellor are returning to the Lichfield Garrick with their Duets for Django performance.
The duo are 21st century heirs to the Reinhardt legacy, and their virtuoso programme sees “high octane rhythms complimented by delicate and exquisite ballads”.

“Paul Vernon Chester is a phenomenal guitarist and composer having begun playing guitar as an infant and emulating his hero Django Reinhardt. He has now reached the peak of his powers and is truly world class as a performer of the Manouche swing or gypsy jazz genre. His style of music and composition transcends all barriers and appeals to very wide audiences including, folk, jazz, swing, nostalgia.
