Lichfield Volunteer Centre will celebrating Volunteers’ Week 2011 
with a stall at the Market Square on June 7.
The Volunteering and the City event will run between 9am and 3pm and will give local people the opportunity to find out everything they’ve ever wanted to know about volunteering.
Local organisations are also invited to visit the stall and find out how using volunteers could benefit their organisation.
Volunteers’ Week is an annual event which celebrates the fantastic contribution that millions of volunteers make across the UK. The week plays a huge part in raising the profile of the millions of volunteers who regularly contribute to society, while inspiring others to get involved too.
