Extra tickets have been made available to see the Staffordshire Hoard at Lichfield Cathedral.
Demand has been huge to see the Anglo Saxon treasures when they visit the city and as a result another 92 have been made available for the daytime Anglo-Saxon Footsteps tour.
The 45 minute tours will see visitors walk in the footsteps of the Anglo-Saxons and discover the origins of the Cathedral.
Canon Pete Wilcox, Chancellor of Lichfield Cathedral, said:
“We have been overwhelmed with the very positive and enthusiastic response to the Staffordshire Hoard on Tour coming to the City of Lichfield and we have taken the decision to offer more tickets for the very popular Anglo Saxon Footsteps tours, which have proved particularly popular for the summer break.”
The extra dates are now available through the Lichfield Garrick box office on 01543 412121 or online at www.lichfieldgarrick.com.
